Ranieri wins Serie A’s Fair Play Moment of the Season | OneFootball

Claudio Ranieri will receive an important recognition from the Lega Serie A, on the occasion of his last match at the helm of Roma.

The Roman coach will be awarded the Philadelphia Fair Play Moment Of The Season.

This is a tribute to the sportsmanship demonstrated during the 2024/2025 season.

During the Venezia-Roma match, played on February 9, 2025 at the “Penzo” stadium, Ranieri stood out for an exemplary gesture.

He asked one of his players to stop the action and put the ball out, to allow emergency services to intervene in favor of a Venezia player who remained injured on the ground.

Luigi De Siervo, CEO of the Lega Serie A, expressed words of admiration for the coach.

“Ranieri has made fair play a cornerstone of his career, always marked by elegance and respect.

This year too, while he led Roma towards an incredible comeback that culminated in qualification for European competitions, he has shown that he is first and foremost a man of values.”
