Real Madrid planning new ‘specialist’ role for Kylian Mbappé | OneFootball

The coaching staff at La Liga giants Real Madrid have drawn up special plans for star attacker Kylian Mbappé moving forward.

That’s according to El Chiringuito TV, who point towards as much as coming in response to the Frenchman’s exploits over the weekend.

Mbappé of course proved himself the star of the show on Saturday, as Real Madrid kicked the club’s campaign back into gear with a victory.

En route to a comeback 3-2 downing of Leganés, the 26-year-old notched a match-winning brace either side of the interval.

This included an altogether rare free-kick strike, which proved to be the game’s decisive moment late on.

Mbappé has largely struggled from set-piece situations throughout his career, never known for being a master of the dead ball.

If the latest word stemming from the media on Monday is anything to go by, however, then those behind the scenes at Real Madrid appear keen to make use of the weekend’s developments to change this situation.
