Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham could find himself in trouble with La Liga officials after ranting at the assistant referee during Saturday’s derby against Atletico Madrid, reports the Mirror.

Bellingham started for the reigning champions at the Santiago Bernabeu as they looked to expand their lead at the top of the La Liga table following a defeat to Espanyol earlier this month

Los Blancos have been on the receiving end of some dodgy decisions in recent weeks and their frustration came to surface just 12 minutes into Saturday’s clash with Atletico.

After challenging Marcos Llorente on the touchline, Bellingham expected to win a throw-in only to see the decision go the Rojiblancos’ way, prompting the 21-year-old Real Madrid ace snap.

“F*** you, man,” Bellingham yelled, with the pitch-side microphones picking up his X-rated outburst. “F*** you,” he said again, before walking away unhappily and shaking his head.

Though he swore at the official, referee Cesar Soto Grado did not book Bellingham, and the incident was not mentioned in his official match report either.

However, La Liga or the RFEF could still investigate the incident and potentially sanction him.

Bellingham’s latest incident follows a similar outburst in September, when he hit out at a referee during the 4-1 win over Espanyol, though he was not penalised for that either.

As for the match on Saturday, it ended in a controversial 1-1 draw with Atletico Madrid having been benefitted by a dodgy penalty in the first period which Julian Alvarez tucked away before Kylian Mbappe equalised after the break.

The result means Real Madrid are only one point above Atletico Madrid while Barcelona’s win over Sevilla on Sunday puts them just two points below Carlo Ancelotti’s men.
