Ajax star Jorrel Hato is under consideration at Chelsea this summer as the Blues gear up for another busy window according to reports.
Chelsea are once again set to be active in the window, and it’s believed they could look to sell as many seven or eight players in order to fund their moves.
This summer is arguably the most important window under the Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital ownership, with the club looking to sign a striker, centre back and right footed attacker.
Despite improving defensively the Blues still need reinforcements at the back, with a commanding centre back and arguably a back-up left back required.
Chelsea have been strongly linked with Marc Guehi, whilst Dean Huijsen is also said to feature highly on their list of targets.

However, Mail Sport have reported Ajax’s Hato is another name under consideration this summer, and the Blues have previously been linked with the teenager.
The 19-year-old is somewhat of a left back and centre back hybrid given he can play in both positions, and given there’s uncertainty surrounding the future of Renato Veiga he would be an ideal replacement for the Portugal international.
Hato has made 45 appearances in all competitions for Ajax this season, with the Dutch giants on course to win the title.
The teenager is clearly a top talent, whilst he’s also been capped six times by the Netherlands, but again he’s another young inexperienced player, which is the last thing Chelsea need more of.

A left back is needed given Marc Cucurella is the only natural left back in the squad, whilst if Veiga insists on playing centre back it appears he won’t have a future at the club.
Hato is currently under contract until 2028 and it’s unclear what fee Ajax would ask for, but it’s definitely a situation to keep an eye on.
