Roma to deliver definitive stadium project in February

Roma are making progress on the new stadium front.

When Roma fans, on New Year’s Eve, curiously went to watch the video greetings from The Friedkin Group, they were pleasantly surprised to also find the new Giallorossi stadium, the one that should be built in Pietralata.

2025 will truly be the key year, writes La Gazzetta dello Sport, the one in which Roma should finally come full circle. Starting with the definitive project, which the Municipality of Rome has been anxiously awaiting for some time.

Roma expects to deliver the complete project by the end of February at the latest.

In the meantime, however, the costs of the work have essentially doubled, compared to the 570 million euros expected during the feasibility study presented on April 3, 2022. Now, in fact, the Friedkins have budgeted for a total expense of around one billion euros.
