Man City academy push continues with Sangare signing

The France Under-18 international has enjoyed a strong campaign in the UEFA Youth League, bagging eight goals and two assists in six appearances for PSG’s youth side.

The forward has quick feet, good movement and a sharp eye for goal.

Man City have a strong history of bringing young players through their system.

Phil Foden, Cole Palmer and Liam Delap are among the players they have developed in recent years.

They also have a track record of acquiring young players before selling them on for a profit once they have reached the desired standard.

City’s move for Sangare fits into their long-term vision of finding talent early and developing them in-house.

Despite a difficult season in the Premier League, Man City have reached the FA Cup final and will aim to claim silverware when they face Crystal Palace.

They are also still in contention for Champions League qualification.
