Sevilla in advanced talks to sign Montpellier striker | OneFootball

La Liga outfit Sevilla are advancing in negotiations to add to the club’s attacking ranks for the 2nd half of the campaign.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who reports that the Andalusians are closing on a deal to sign Akor Adams from Montpellier.

Adams, for his part, is a 24-year-old attacker, who generally operates in a central role up top.

The Nigerian has played a leading role for Montpellier across the season to date, racking up 15 Ligue 1 appearances, 13 of which came from the off.

And, across these outings, Adams has managed to contribute to six goals (3G, 3A).

Whilst not exactly spectacular numbers, the frontman’s overall performances have drawn praise, with one club to have evidently had their attentions piqued by as much coming in the form of Sevilla.

In fact, as confirmed by Fabrizio Romano:

‘Sevilla are in advanced talks to sign Nigerian striker Akor Adams from Montpellier! Negotiations underway and at final stages to get it done on permanent deal.’
