Inter Milan boss Simone Inzaghi is considering making two changes to his starting line-up for tomorrow’s home clash against Bologna.
According to Sky Sport via FCInterNews, the Scudetto-winning manager will bring two first-team stalwarts back to the fold.
Federico Dimarco and Marcus Thuram were on the bench last weekend as the Nerazzurri squeaked past Venezia 1-0.
Indeed, Carlos Augusto took the Italian’s place on the left flank while Mehdi Taremi replaced the Frenchman in attack.
However, the second-string stars failed to impress Inzaghi.
Therefore, he’ll turn to his favorites for Wednesday’s tasty-looking fixture against European hopefuls Bologna.
Dimarco will probably return to his wingback position after making a late cameo appearance at Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo.
The same goes for Thuram, who entered the fray just after the hour mark at the expense of Taremi.
However, the Frenchman wasn’t 100% fit after suffering a muscle injury in the Supercoppa Italiana semi-final against Atalanta.
He’s back to full fitness now and seems ready to join forces with Lautaro Martinez in the front third.
Thuram couldn’t have timed his recovery any better, given Bologna’s nasty habit of troubling Inter at Giuseppe Meazza.
