“I am probably at one of the best clubs in the world, end of discussion,” Frank said, highlighting Brentford’s strong culture and leadership.

Yet, when pressed about a potential move to a club like Manchester United, he acknowledged the allure of the challenge such a position might bring. “Maybe it is a challenge you need to try,” he admitted, adding, “It would probably not make my life better.”

Frank has never shied away from discussing the sacrifices that come with elite management. He has missed personal milestones, such as his children’s birthdays while committing decades to the grind of coaching.

“I have been working 60, 70 hours a week for the last 30 years,” Frank noted, suggesting that the pressures of managing a global powerhouse might not necessarily outweigh the rewards.

While Frank is happy at Brentford, his name continues circulating whenever a managerial vacancy arises at a bigger club.

Reports from Denmark suggest that Man United representatives contacted Frank’s camp over the summer, although talks have since cooled.

Despite this, there is speculation that Frank’s recent media engagements could be a subtle reminder of his availability.

Danish outlet Bold has further suggested that any potential move could cost United around £9-10 million, significantly less than previously reported figures.

For now, Thomas Frank seems content at Brentford, where he has overseen the club’s rise to the Premier League.
