According to a report from RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Paris Saint-Germain have reached a total agreement with Napoli for the transfer of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (23). The Georgian international is expected to soon arrive in Paris where Fabrizio Romano writes he will sign a five-year contract.
Both clubs convened for talks yesterday and were reported to have reached an agreement in principle for a transfer fee suspected to be valued at €70 million, although performance-related bonuses could see this price increase to near €80 million in total. The player is thought to have already agreed personal terms with Les Parisiens.
Kvaratskhelia has long been a target for PSG who had wanted to sign him in the summer as a clear replacement for Kylian Mbappé (25). Even a few months ago there appeared to be significant stumbling blocks in the way. However, Napoli in recent weeks have opened the door for a departure and PSG leapt at the opportunity to secure the Georgian’s signature.
