Liverpool will have to fork out more than £125m if they want to sign Florian Wirtz this summer.
The German international forward is set to be among the hottest names of the looming transfer window(s).
Bayern Munich have long been thought to be in the driving seat when it comes to signing Wirtz, though the player's parents - his father, Hans, is his agent - sprung a shock earlier this week by travelling to the UK and holding talks with Manchester City.
Liverpool were also rumoured to have had "secret" discussions over a deal for the 22-year-old, as they also prepare to trigger the £29.5m release clause of Bayer Leverkusen team-mate Jeremie Frimpong, their top target to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold.
Christian Falk, head of football at German publication BILD, says that Leverkusen will demand €150m to sell Wirtz this summer, with his tip still that he ends up at Bayern.

Ademola Lookman is another player said to be on Arsenal’s transfer radar this summer.
The Gunners, led by new sporting director Andrea Berta, have an extensive list of attacking targets and are keen on signing a new winger as well as making a splashy striker addition.
The Sun say that Arsenal are admirers of former Charlton, Everton, Fulham and Leicester star Lookman, who has been an important player for Atalanta in Serie A over recent years.
However, it remains to be seen if they will formalise that interest in the Nigerian international.

With Dean Huijsen set to complete his move to Real Madrid, Chelsea appear to have drawn up a new shortlist of alternative defender targets.
The Blues were keen on a summer deal for Bournemouth’s highly-rated young Spanish centre-back, but he’s heading to the Bernabeu instead on a five-year contract after completing a medical after Los Blancos triggered his £50m release clause.
Chelsea will have to turn their attentions elsewhere now, with Sky Sports claiming that Everton’s Jarrad Branthwaite and Crystal Palace captain Marc Guehi are both targets, along with Ajax’s Jorrel Hato - previously linked with both Arsenal and Liverpool.
However, they insist there is no move in the offing to Stamford Bridge for Leicester’s Ben Nelson.

Manchester United look poised to step up their move for Matheus Cunha.
The Wolves forward, along with Ipswich striker Liam Delap, is a key early target for the Red Devils this summer as they look to remodel their stalled attack under Ruben Amorim.
A deal for Cunha looked to be progressing swiftly only a couple of weeks ago, though it’s gone a little bit quiet in recent days.
However, transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano has said that he expects things to advance again in the coming days.
Cunha is said to be eager to move to Old Trafford, with Romano insisting that it’s just a matter of closing the contract agreement.

The England midfielder has a huge day ahead as he attempts to lead Crystal Palace to a first-ever major trophy as they face Manchester City in the FA Cup final at Wembley later on.
Wharton first finds himself at the centre of renewed transfer speculation, having previously been linked with the likes of City and Real Madrid.
TEAMtalk report that Liverpool are strong admirers of Wharton and are pondering a potential offer for his services.
However, Chelsea and Barcelona are also rumoured to be in the mix on this one, along with Madrid.
