Inter are keen on making what would be a sensational move for Daniel Maldini as he continues to shine with Monza, but a report has outlined how it will depend on AC Milan’s intentions.

As Tuttosport report, the notion of a Maldini wearing the shirt of Milan’s city rivals is something that fans would struggle to comprehend, and yet Inter seem to be at least willing to try and convince Daniel to add a shock chapter to his family’s dynasty.

Their sporting director Piero Ausilio was at Monza-Roma before the break and it seems that his eyes were focused on two boys. One is Warren Bondo, the 21-year-old French midfielder, but the other is Daniel Maldini in the playmaker position.

For the future, in short, Maldini’s profile as a possible fourth striker is far from being ruled out by the Nerazzurri, but it is Milan permitting. One of the reasons Inter are keen is the relatively low cost, yet Milan have a 50% resale clause in their favour so half of any fee goes to the Rossoneri.

Not only that, above all the Milan management secured a right of first refusal as part of the summer deal, meaning they can match any offer and sign the forward by paying half of the amount offered to Monza, should the player agree.
