City’s Barclays Women’s Super League fixture against Manchester United has been selected for live TV coverage in the United Kingdom.

The match will still take place at Old Trafford on Sunday 4 May, with kick-off set for 12:00 (UK).

It will now, however, be available to watch live in the UK on Sky Sports.

Our penultimate fixture of the WSL campaign, the two sides are separated by seven points with four matches of the campaign still to play.

However, with United still to face runaway leaders Chelsea and second-placed Arsenal before the season’s end, our showdown at Old Trafford could have a huge bearing on the third and final UEFA Women’s Champions League spot.

The two sides have already faced each other three times in 2024/25 in every domestic competition.

United drew first blood with a 4-2 WSL win at the Etihad Stadium, but City responded with a 2-1 victory in the League Cup quarter-finals just three days later.

Most recently, we locked horns with our rivals in the FA Cup semi-finals, with United coming out on top 2-0 at the Joie Stadium.
