Footage of a pair of Barcelona stars arriving at the club’s headquarters to put pen to paper on fresh contract terms has come to the fore online.

First up comes defender Gerard Martín.

Left-back Martín has of course enjoyed something of a breakout season to date in Catalunya’s capital.

After impressing with Barca Atlètic across the 2023/24 campaign, the 22-year-old has been afforded the role of backup to Alejandro Balde in Hansi Flick’s first-team squad.

And, evidently, across his 18 appearances to date, Martín has done enough to convince those behind the scenes of his talents.

This comes amid confirmation that the stopper was spotted at Barcelona’s headquarters on Thursday, ahead of officially extending his Blaugrana contract:

And, as alluded to above, Martín is not the only one…

This comes with a 2nd member of Hansi Flick’s defensive ranks having since followed suit in making his way to Barca’s offices.

The player in question? Ronald Araújo.

Stopper Araújo was of course hotly tipped for a Camp Nou departure earlier this month, having found himself down the pecking order in boss Flick’s setup following a long-term spell on the sidelines.

The Uruguayan, however, has since made the call to stay put.

Not only that, but Araújo, too, is ready to put pen to paper on a new deal, all the way through the summer of 2031:
