Leicester City Football Club will apparently soon find out if one of their worst Premier League fears will actually come true. In fact, you could argue that a negative eventuality here would be the greatest setback the Foxes could suffer right now. The east Midlands outfit deserve at least a fighting chance this season. But supporters' hope may be futile.
I don't mean to worry the Blue Army, yet a very trusted source has now spoken on a serious matter. This outlet often gives us clarity on LCFC's issues. Of course, I am referring to Profit and Sustainability problems again looming for Leicester. John Percy states that City are facing a 'nightmare' points deduction due to an alleged 'spending breach'.
In addition to that story, we go elsewhere for more Foxes news as well. Ruud van Nistelrooy has given his latest pre-match press conference before the FA Cup Third Round begins tonight. LCFC play Queens Park Rangers at King Power Stadium on Saturday. And the former Manchester United man has previewed the match from a Leicester perspective. Did the Dutchman give anything away regarding possible team selections?
After reading van Nistelrooy's fairly brief comments on the starting lineup he could select - I have an inkling. I suspect the City manager will not give many youths an opportunity to shine. It seems as if the boss will choose a pretty strong XI:
"We’ll address the squad over the coming days. It’s important to keep our development going. We want to break the current run of defeats. We want to play well and gain confidence. Those are things I’m thinking about and then I’ll make decisions about selection."RvN
LCFC are seemingly going to be under the EPL spotlight until division bosses get their way. Is there a vendetta of some sort?
