An insight into the personnel plans of the coaching staff at La Liga giants Barcelona for their upcoming meeting with Athletic Club has today been provided.

Barcelona are of course primed to return to action on Wednesday night.

Fresh off a comfortable Copa del Rey victory over Barbastro in the club’s first outing of the new year, attentions will turn to the Spanish Super Cup, and a semi-final showdown with the aforementioned Athletic.

The injury situation in the Blaugrana’s ranks looks increasingly positive ahead of the matchup, with the likes of Lamine Yamal and Ronald Araújo back fully fit and firing.

The remaining question marks surround who between Iñaki Peña and Wojciech Szczęsny will start between the posts, and which of Iñigo Martínez or Ronald Araújo will be given the nod at centre-half.
