Nottingham Forest stunned Brighton with a 7-0 thrashing, their biggest win of the season. While Chris Wood netted a hat-trick, it was Anthony Elanga who shone, providing three assists and tormenting Brighton’s defence.
Since joining Forest, Elanga has contributed 25 goal involvements, and only Mohamed Salah, Bukayo Saka, and Cole Palmer have registered more Premier League assists since last season. His partnership with Wood has been particularly deadly, assisting 10 of the striker’s 17 goals this campaign.
Forest captain Morgan Gibbs-White hailed Elanga as "amazing" and deserving of greater recognition. With performances like this, he won’t go unnoticed for long.
