Inter Milan have had an exhausting few weeks.

The Nerazzurri squad have been in action twice per week ever since returning from the March international break.

In addition to the Serie A fixture list, Inter have had ties against AC Milan in the Coppa Italia, and both Bayern Munich and Barcelona in the Champions League.

Now, Inter will have two more Serie A matches – potentially three, if there is to be a playoff with Napoli.

Then, there will be the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain.

Inter Milan put in a massive shift against Barcelona in the Champions League.

The semifinal second leg went the distance, with the second leg going to extra time. Therefore, many of Inter’s players were on the pitch for over two hours.

Meanwhile, Inter also faced Torino this weekend. Inzaghi rotated his team significantly for that match, a 2-0 away win.

Now, for the first time in a while, Inter will have a week without a match.

And therefore, Nerazzurri coach Inzaghi has given his players a bit of a chance to catch their breath.

Sky report that Inzaghi has allowed his players to take the next two days offer. Then, on Wednesday, they will return to training ahead of their match against Lazio this weekend.s
