There's an exciting winger who just sent a come and get me plea to Richard Hughes.
Liverpool want to sign another attacker. They've been wanting to sign a winger for the last 12 months, ever since the club's new sporting director has been appointed.
Last summer the Reds pursued a move for Anthony Gordon, although unfortunately this never came to fruition with Newcastle United convincing the former Everton star to sign a new deal at the club instead.
After Gordon a move for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia was also explored. Even in January, the Reds considered making a move for the Georgian.
However, it was a move that just never came to be. Paris Saint Germain signed Kvaratskhelia instead and the rest is history with the Parisians knocking Liverpool out of the Champions League just a few weeks later.
Liverpool will now be hoping it'll be third time lucky.
While on the surface it doesn't seem like Arne Slot needs another left-winger, the reality is that Luis Diaz is approaching a critical age.
He's 28-years-old with two years left on his current deal and he's looking for a big extension. The kind of extension which is moot whether Liverpool would actually be willing to pay.
That's why the Reds could enter the market to sign another winger instead and one player who seems like the perfect choice is Antoine Semenyo.
The Bournemouth winger has been linked with a £70m move to Liverpool. He's the perfect choice and we've already explained why.
Semenyo has been impressive this season making 18 goal contributions for Bournemouth this season. He's homegrown and he gives Liverpool what they don't really have in the team - a player who thrives in one vs one challenges.
As per Wyscout, out of players who average at least five dribbles per 90 minutes in Premier League this season, Semenyo has the best success rate. He completes a whopping 68.39% of his 5.07 attempted dribblers per 90 minutes.
On top of that, he's a great player out of possession.
He has won the most possessions in the opposition's final third this season (33).
No Premier League forward has averaged more blocked passes per 90 minutes than Semenyo (1.5 per 90).
And now he's showcasing another exciting quality that literally no one else has when it comes to wingers in the Premier League.
Against Arsenal, the Ghanaian international registered an assist. And this was quite an extraordinary assist. It wasn't from a cross or a dribble, that you'd normally expect from a winger but a long-throw.
Yes, that's right, Semenyo showcased at the weekend that he has the Rory Delap esque long-throws in his locker as well.
His long looping ball arrived perfectly onto the head of Dean Huijsen and helped secure a famous victory at the Emirates for the Cherries.
This is just another reason why Semenyo is the perfect player for Liverpool. The one player if the Reds are looking for a winger Hughes simply has to sign.
I mean who else can do long throws in the style of Rory Delap and also takes players on with the ease of Jay-Jay Okocha? Literally no one except Semenyo.
