Bild are reporting that RB Leipzig will not pay the buy option for Abdou Diallo who is currently on loan from PSG, meaning his time in the Bundesliga will end in the summer.
The buy option for Diallo was worth €22m, but Leipzig have decided against paying it as they see it as too expensive. The 26-year-old was originally bought in as an emergency backup for Lukas Klostermann after he injured himself at the beginning of the season, but with Klostermann having fully recovered Diallo is now seen as surplus to requirement.
However, Diallo himself has proven to be injury prone during his time back in the Bundesliga as he has yet to play for Leipzig this year due to a knee injury.
Diallo last played for Leipzig in their 3-1 win against Hoffenheim back in November where he played the full 90 minutes. The 26-year-old also featured for Senegal at the World Cup playing in all four of their matches as they made the round of 16.
