Sometimes it just is not your day in front of goal. Unfortunately for Aberdeen's Kevin Nisbet, that day - partially - was today.

Currently on loan at Pittodrie Stadium, the Scottish international forward was among Jimmy Thelin's team that ultimately ran out 3-0 winners over Dunfermline, but already up 2-0, Nisbet was presented with a magnificent chance to put the match out of sight in the 74th minute.

As you can see, at least in this moment, Nisbet failed, with match commentary chiming in while declaring that it was a ridiculous miss.

Fortunately for Nisbet, he would set the record straight by going on to get his name on the scoresheet 11 minutes later to spare his blushes.
