📸 adidas release "Parley boot pack" to highlight plastic pollution issues | OneFootball

Adidas have officially released a special-edition “Sustainability Pack” football boot collection in cooperation with environmental organisation Parley.

Parley – a non-profit founded in 2012 that address environmental threats to the oceans through plastic pollution – have worked with Adidas since 2015.

The new design impacts the Copa Pure, Predator Accuracy, and X Speedportal collections, featuring a higher percentage of recycled ocean plastic and sustainable materials.

Barcelona sensation Pedri has joined the initiative and can be seen modelling the boots below, which are predominantly white with the collar and heel coloured in turquoise.

Mapi León – another star performer for Barcelona Femení – also took to the beach to promote the new pack launch.

Both players have used their social media platforms to promote sustainability and raise awareness about plastic pollution which continues to impact world beaches.
