Re-signing Bruno Valdéz has been one of Club América’s biggest priorities and they can finally breathe a sigh of relief… for now.
According to his representatives, Valdéz has signed a deal that will keep him under contract with the Mexican giants for the next three years.
However, there’s a catch. His agent, Pedro Aldave, insists that, despite signing an extension, that Valdéz will continue to prioritise a move to Europe.
In fact, there’s a reported clause that requires significant offers, including all those from Europe, to be analysed both by the América board and the player.
América have shown their willingness to allow European moves with players like Guido Rodríguez, Agustín Marchesín, Mateus Uribe, and Diego Lainez, so long as the move benefits both the player and the club.
