West Ham will today part ways with Julen Lopetegui and appoint Graham Potter as the clubs new Head Coach.

Following a period of significant uncertainty in east London, with constant speculation surrounding the future of Lopetegui and whether the club would look to replace him following a poor first half of the season – it’s now thankfully set to be concluded, as the club call time on the former Real Madrid boss.

It’s understood that Lopetegui will be sacked today, possibly as early as this morning, after the club agreed terms on an initial short term deal with Potter, which will turn into a long-term arrangement if caveats are met this season.

Although Graham Potter is expected to be confirmed as the Head Coach soon, its unknown as to whether he’ll be in the dugout for our FA Cup clash with Aston Villa on Friday night, with a likely scenario being that Kevin Keen or Mark Noble step in as a temporary measure.

Another item on the clubs agenda is Tim Steidten, who is now facing scrutiny following another falling out with a club’s manager / head coach – which is leaving many questioning whether he is right for the club.

Questions have been raised over some of the transfer deals, as the club explore options on possibly restructuring the operation, which at this stage is unlikely to feature Steidten, who’s role this January is to be an advisor only.
