Bad news for Ajax and Celtic as Real Valladolid winger Raúl Moro has suffered a serious injury, putting a move this month in doubt. The 22-year-old requires surgery after suffering a broken collarbone in Valladolid‘s 2-1 defeat to Espanyol on Friday night.

According to Voetbal International, Moro is facing two to three months out of action. Ajax were on the verge of agreeing a deal for the Spaniard having already agreed personal terms, while Scottish Premiership side Celtic had also expressed interest in the player.

The deal with Ajax is currently still on, with the club yet to make a decision on whether or not to completely abandon the move. Raúl Moro himself is reportedly frustrated with the timing of this injury. The youngster is very keen on a move to the Johan Cruyff Arena and is hopeful this setback won’t affect anything. Currently, the deal is in doubt.
