Saudi outfit Al-Nassr are ready to rival La Liga giants Barcelona in the race for a headline member of the latter’s summer transfer wishlist.
That’s according to journalist Ben Jacobs, who points towards Luis Díaz as the player in question.
It is of course common knowledge at this point that Spanish champions Barcelona have set their sights on a summer deal for Liverpool standout Díaz.
Amid an ongoing search for reinforcements out wide, the Blaugrana have earmarked the Colombian as the ideal profile.
Safe to say, then, that the latest word stemming from the media on Thursday will likely mark a source of concern for Deco and the Camp Nou brass.
This comes amid confirmation that Al-Nassr have joined the hunt for Díaz.
Amid mounting fears that Cristiano Ronaldo will be on the move this summer, Al-Nassr are on the lookout for a marquee attacking signing.
And according to journalist Ben Jacobs, Díaz is one such player under consideration on the part of the Riyadh-based club:
‘Luis Diaz is a leading target for Al-Nassr, and club officials have already requested central funding to make a bid. Diaz is likely to cost €85m+, and an exit is by no means guaranteed.’
