Alessia Russo has been voted England women’s Player of the Year 2023-24 connected by EE, after topping a fans’ vote.

The Arsenal forward claimed the honour ahead of current Chelsea duo, Lauren James and Lucy Bronze, who were second and third respectively in the vote.
Russo scored six times in eleven appearances for the Lionesses throughout the 2023-24 season, half of those goals helping England qualify for the EUROs in Switzerland next summer.
Her six-goal haul in the season also secured her the team’s top goalscorer award for 2023-24, presented by M&S Food.
