Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick on Monday opted to call a whole host of the club’s most talented young players up to senior training.
This comes amid ongoing preparations for Barcelona’s return to action, on Tuesday night.
Fresh off being put to the sword in La Liga for the first time this season over the weekend, Flick and co. will tomorrow turn their attentions back towards matters on the continent.
A Champions League meeting with Swiss giants Young Boys lies in wait, at Montjuïc.
Earlier today, the Blaugrana’s stars, in turn, were put through their latest preparatory training session at The Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
And, as alluded to above, amongst the group were a number of academy talents.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, seeing out the length of senior training on Monday were all of Gerard Martín, Héctor Fort, Andrés Cuenca, Guille Fernández, Toni Fernández and the goalkeepers Ander Astralaga and Áron Yaakobishvili.
Also playing his part was defender Sergi Domínguez, who has recovered from a knock suffered during Barcelona’s defeat at the hands of Osasuna on Saturday.
