Two goals in three first-half minutes helped América on their way to victory over Juárez and boosted their hopes of reaching the Clausura play-offs.
Scorers: Zendejas 27′, Viñas 30′, Valdés 90+2′
Guillermo Ochoa was making his 400th appearance for the Azulcrema, and the 36-year-old showed he is as sharp as ever when he came out to brilliantly deny Flavio Santos mid-way through the first half.
His team-mates went down the other end shortly afterwards and took the lead through an Alejandro Zendejas shot from distance after some successful counter-pressing.
And that lead was doubled when Federico Viñas whipped a terrific left-footed free-kick past the hapless Felipe Rodríguez in the Bravos goal.
From there it was cruise control for Las Águilas, who have now kept four consecutive clean sheets in the league.
The hosts managed to score a third just before the final whistle when Diego Valdés latched onto possession before blasting to the net.
The win lifts América up to 11th and into the play-off places, while a ninth defeat of the season sees Juárez rooted to the foot of the table.
