Arsenal now ‘seriously considering’ big-money offer for Real Madrid star | OneFootball

The brass at Premier League giants Arsenal are ready to launch an all-out offensive to land a member of the attacking ranks at Real Madrid this summer.

That’s according to transfer insider Florian Plettenberg, who points towards Rodrygo as the player in question.

The subject of Rodrygo’s future has of course taken its place front and centre in the headlines across Spain over the course of recent weeks.

This comes amid claims that the Brazilian, having become somewhat disillusioned with his situation at Real Madrid, is ready to seek out a new challenge.

A number of clubs from across the continent, in turn, have been credited with an interest in bringing Rodrygo in.

And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then one such suitor now appear primed to pounce.

As per Sky journalist Florian Plettenberg:

‘Understand Arsenal are now seriously considering a transfer for Rodrygo! Talks have begun behind the scenes. The 24-year-old is a potential departure candidate at Real Madrid.’

The deal is labelled as a ‘difficult’ one to pull off, but The Emirates board are ready to ‘explore all options’ to get negotiations over the line.
