Brentford got off to a fast start and had a great chance to take the lead just a minute in when Maddie Phillips picked out Logie with a great pass.
The striker’s first touch inside the box was good but her shot went straight at the Ashmount Leigh keeper.
Just shy of 10 minutes in and the Bees saw another great chance come and go, this time Phillips picked out Cheatley with the striker beating Katie Peers with her initial shot only for her effort to be cleared off the line by Lisa Richards.
The Bees were rewarded for their pressure a few minutes later after Woods converted a free-kick from 25 yards into the top corner with a brilliant finish.
Ashmount Leigh struggled to string together a spell on the ball in the opening half as Brentford dominated possession and were playing the game at their own pace.
The visitors were so dangerous down the flanks with wing-back Chloe Webb and Phillips providing an out ball for Brentford.
Cheatley came close again on the half hour mark with Webb this time finding the striker with a cross but her first time effort took a deflection before going wide.
Woods was playing at the top of her game and tested Peers in the Ashmount Leigh net when she drove through the pitch and let fly from range.
The attacking midfielder was involved again as Brentford made it 2-0 just before half-time, this time she assisted with an excellent cross into Cheatley who finished in style.
Brentford made a good start to the second half and thought they had made it three just two minutes in when Freya Worsley played through Logie.
The striker found the back of the net with her finish, but the linesman’s flag deemed her offside.
Samantha Read came close from scoring a spectacular goal when she struck from 35 yards only for her effort to go inches over the bar.
The second half proved to be more of the same with Brentford making a variety of changes on the hour mark as Osborne looked to give minutes to his full squad.
It took the Bees until 71 minutes to find their third and it came through substitute, Down.
A Sophie Troth corner found the midfielder who powerfully headed home to extend the visitors lead.
It was complete Brentford dominance with Cheatley coming close to grabbing her second after a great pass from Lucy Potter found the forward.
Cheatley made room for the shot, but her effort was well saved this time.
