Aston Villa have announced the departures of Ahmed Elmohamady, Neil Taylor and Tom Heaton.
The popular trio, who are each out of contract at Villa Park this summer, move on with the very best wishes of everyone at the club.
Elmohamady joined in the summer of 2017 and has made 129 appearances over the course of the past four seasons, scoring four goals.
He played a huge part in the club's promotion-winning campaign, with his superb cross providing Villa's crucial opener in the play-off final triumph over Derby County at Wembley.
The Egypt international's fine right-wing delivery also helped secure dramatic last-gasp semi-final success in the Carabao Cup in 2019/20, sending the club back to Wembley where Elmohamady started the showpiece final against Manchester City.
Taylor was another of Villa's key performers in 2018/19, also starting all three play-off matches to help guide the club back to the Premier League.
The left-back, who was in the matchday squad for the League Cup final, arrived at Villa Park in January 2017 and made 103 appearances.
Heaton joined in the summer of 2019 following the club's return to the top flight.
The experienced goalkeeper immediately impressed as he started the first 20 Premier League matches, only to suffer knee ligament damage on New Year's Day in 2020 and see his debut season cruelly cut short.
Heaton made a full recovery and has returned to Villa's matchday 20 for the second half of this season.
