While the summer transfer window has long since closed, the January transfer window is on the horizon and sides are already starting to advance their plans for an opportunity to change their fortunes or pick up top gems before others.

Eyes have been drawn towards Sweden, where the league is producing promising players, especially amid Lucas Bergvall moving to Tottenham Hotspur in the summer.

Now Hammarby’s Bazoumana Toure is drawing eyeballs, with Premier League sides having noticed the 18-year-old Ivorian.

According to Swedish daily Aftonbladet, Aston Villa, West Ham and Brighton are ‘in the hunt’ for Toure.

Hammarby are all but resigned to losing their bright talent and it is suggested that it is expected that Toure will be sold ‘before 2025’, meaning a deal agreed before the window opens in January.

The Premier League sides also have competition from elsewhere as Bayer Leverkusen and Atletico Madrid are keen.

Toure has made 20 appearances for Hammarby in the ongoing Swedish league season, finding the back of the net seven times and providing three assists.

His deal with Hammarby runs until the end of 2028.
