Barcelona are gearing up for a busy summer ahead, one that could witness the exit of multiple unwanted stars in the team.
While Ansu Fati’s uncertain future at the club is well-documented, another player who is unsure about his future at Barcelona is Inaki Pena.
According to SPORT, Inaki Pena is all set to leave Barcelona at the end of the season, as he gears up to take the next step in his career.
Pena has fallen behind in the pecking order this season, especially following Wojciech Szczesny’s brilliance since the turn of the year.
The Pole has emerged as one of La Liga’s best-performing goalkeepers this year and is yet to lose a single game in a Barça shirt.

Szczesny’s brilliant form is coupled with the fact that Marc-Andre ter Stegen is slowly completing his recovery and could return to action soon.
Keeping these factors in mind, Pena will not continue at Barcelona as he simply does not enjoy the trust of coach Hansi Flick.
The German tactician has already decided that Ter Stegen and Szczesny will be the two Barcelona first-team goalkeepers next season.
There will be a third goalkeeper in the team but it won’t be Pena, who, at 26, is still young and can easily find himself a good suitor in the summer.
Celta Vigo, for one, have reportedly emerged as a potential suitor for Inaki Pena, although it will be interesting to see whether or not the Spaniard prefers to remain in La Liga or seek a new challenge in a foreign league.
