FC Barcelona are back at the top in Spain as they were crowned the champions of 2024/25 La Liga following the 2-0 win over RCD Espanyol on Thursday night.
With still two games left to be played in the season, the Blaugrana have established an unassailable seven-point lead over arch-rivals Real Madrid and are the new champions of Spain.
Following their success in Cornella last night, the Barcelona players took to the streets today in a bus parade to celebrate their success with the fans.
After all, with the La Liga title in the bag, the Blaugrana have now completed a domestic treble, having also won the Spanish Super Cup and the Copa del Rey this season.
Speaking to Barça One from the parade, Barcelona captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen expressed his joy at what he and his team have been able to achieve this season.
“You never get tired of winning titles, it’s the goal for all of us. During your career you want to win as many titles as possible,” said the veteran goalkeeper, who has now won his sixth La Liga title, going level with legends like Pep Guardiola and Carles Puyol.

Talking about the celebrations, he stated: “The weather is good, people are looking forward to seeing us… I’m very happy to be able to celebrate La Liga with the fans.”
Continuing, the German international hailed the connection between this Barcelona team and the supporters, saying:
“There is a spectacular connection between the fans and the club. That’s what we’ve created all season.”
Reflecting on the campaign, Ter Stegen insisted that what Barcelona have achieved this term was special and more than deserved.
“All of us are very excited, it’s something very special. I’m very happy to be able to celebrate three titles. What we have achieved this year has a lot of merit, he remarked.
Concluding, Ter Stegen noted: “We have an exciting future. We have done a very good job and we have managed the ups and downs during the season very well. Flick’s philosophy has helped us a lot.”
