Barcelona are planning a major squad reshuffle this summer, with as many as six players likely to leave the club.

According to a report from Fichajes, the board is looking to ease the wage bill and create room for new signings. The names expected to head out are Ansu Fati, Ronald Araujo, Pau Victor, Andreas Christensen, Eric Garcia, and Pablo Torre.

The main goal is to strengthen the team without being limited by financial restrictions. Of the six players, Araujo and Eric Garcia will only be sold if strong offers come from top clubs in Europe.

These are not players the club wants to lose, but tough choices are needed due to financial pressures.

Club president Joan Laporta is happy with the season, especially with the domestic treble and reaching the Champions League semi-finals.

Yamal’s renewal and other decisions await Flick and Deco

A major priority now is securing the long-term future of Lamine Yamal. Despite his young age, he has already signed a pre-agreement for a five-year deal. His rise has been rapid, and his impact on the pitch and commercially has been massive.

Meanwhile, Ansu’s exit is almost confirmed, but the futures of the others still need clear direction. Manager Hansi Flick and sporting director Deco will meet soon to decide what’s next.

Flick did not want to make these calls during the season, but now decisions can’t be delayed. Christensen could be sold if Barcelona secure Leverkusen’s defender Jonathan Tah.

Deco prefers to sell young players with buy-back options rather than loan them out. For example, Torre is being followed by Villarreal and Real Sociedad.

Barcelona hope a big offer will arrive for Araujo, as his sale could bring in a lot of money. As for Garcia, he might stay unless another club is ready to invest heavily. Barcelona’s summer will be full of changes, with these exits key to their plans going forward.
