Barcelona identify Monaco starlet as transfer target | OneFootball

The transfer team at La Liga giants Barcelona have set their sights on an up-and-coming member of the attacking ranks at AS Monaco.

That’s according to Mundo Deportivo, citing Goal, who have on Tuesday provided an insight into the situation.

It is of course common knowledge at this point that Barcelona are on the lookout for reinforcements out wide with a view to next season.

Owing to the club’s ongoing financial problems, a list of names yet to be established as household ones across the continent is being drawn up.

And one of the first entries on as much, as per MD, is AS Monaco sensation Eliesse Ben Seghir.

Ben Seghir, for his part, is a 19-year-old winger, who chiefly operates on the left flank.

Already a fully established international with Morocco, the youngster has racked up an impressive haul of seven goals and four assists across 23 appearances in all competitions this season.

And such impressive exploits have not gone at all unappreciated behind the scenes at the Camp Nou, with Deco and co. ‘keeping an eye’ on his development, with a view to a potential future offer.
