Barcelona Women have announced that Fridolina Rolfö has sustained an injury to the meniscus of her right knee.
The Swedish forward will undergo an arthroscopy on Friday 8 September, after which a timeline on her recovery will be revealed.

Rolfö – who represented her country at this summer’s World Cup – will surely be unavailable for the start of the new Liga F season, which begins when Barcelona welcome Valencia to the Estadi Johan Cruyff on Sunday.
Coach Jonatan Giráldez will welcome his full squad — minus Rölfo — back for pre-season training on Wednesday, with the heroes of Spain’s World Cup triumph and their English counterparts set to join up with the rest of their team-mates for the first time this summer.
