An altogether noteworthy statistic, highlighting the stellar European campaign being enjoyed by Barcelona star Raphinha to date, has on Thursday come to the fore online.

Wide-man Raphinha, for his part, is of course fresh off another starring display on Wednesday night.

Afforded a start in Barcelona’s Champions League meeting with Serie A outfit Atalanta, the Brazilian laid on the assists for both of his side’s goals, en route to a 2-2 draw.

And as alluded to above, such exploits have since given rise to another notable stat, surrounding Raphinha’s Ballon d’Or-level season to date.

As per Squawka, Barcelona’s explosive winger created more ‘big chances’ than any other player in the Champions League league phase, with eight.
