An interesting still shot of an exchange between Barcelona pair Pedri and Wojciech Szczęsny has on Sunday evening come to the fore online.
This of course comes after both played their part in Barcelona closing the gap on arch rivals Real Madrid atop the La Liga table.
Hansi Flick’s troops marked their return to action earlier this afternoon, welcoming Deportivo Alavés to Catalunya’s capital.
When all was said and done, the Blaugrana emerged on the right side of the result, owing to a solitary strike on the part of Robert Lewandowski.
With his side in possession of a slender advantage late in the action at Montjuïc, the aforementioned Pedri, in turn, attempted to slow the pace of the game down.
After Wojciech Szczęsny collected the ball in his penalty area, the Spanish international pleaded with his teammate to take his time, in an attempt to take the sting out of proceedings.
But Barca’s no.1 had other ideas.
Launching a pinpoint throw half the length of the pitch, Szczęsny set Lamine Yamal free down the hosts’ right.
