Barcelona star to miss Leganés clash | OneFootball

A headline member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona is set to miss the club’s next outing.

The player in question? Dani Olmo.

Midfielder Olmo has for his part of course been sidelined since late last month.

This comes owing to a muscular injury suffered en route to Barcelona’s 3-0 downing of Osasuna in the club’s post-international break return to action.

The summer arrival in Catalunya’s capital, in turn, has been forced to sit out each of the Blaugrana’s last four fixtures in all competitions.

And this weekend, Olmo will make it five.

Speaking during his pre-match press conference ahead of Barca’s La Liga meeting with Leganés on Saturday, Hansi Flick was asked for an update on his midfield conductor’s wellbeing.

And the Blaugrana’s headmaster went on to confirm:

“Dani Olmo will not play tomorrow. It’s better for him to take more time and train here with the staff. He won’t be available”.
