Dani Olmo is currently facing a period of uncertainty as he remains without a contract, having not been registered with La Liga since January 1.

Despite this, the attacking midfielder remains determined to play for Barcelona, where he feels at home.

In fact, according to a report from MARCA, Olmo is steadfast in his decision not to consider offers from other clubs, as he is solely focused on continuing his career at Barça.

His loyalty to the club is clear, and he has turned down any interest from outside entities, keeping his mind set on playing under manager Hansi Flick.

Difficult period for Olmo

The situation is undoubtedly difficult for Olmo, as the challenges surrounding his contract and the complications with La Liga and the Royal Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) have caused emotional strain.

However, he believes in the commitment of Barcelona president Joan Laporta and the club’s executives, who have reassured him that there is still a possibility for him to play during the second half of the season.

Olmo’s decision to ignore any unofficial offers reflects his strong attachment to Barcelona. While intermediaries and representatives from other clubs have attempted to make contact, Olmo has chosen not to entertain these discussions.

Olmo only wants Barcelona

For him, the idea of leaving the club, especially after working hard to return, is simply not an option. As long as there is even the slightest chance of staying at Barcelona, he is determined to hold onto that opportunity.

Moreover, he recognizes the difficulty of leaving for a short period of just six months, as very few top clubs would be willing to offer such a short-term contract.

Additionally, this would mean having to sever ties with Barcelona once again, something he does not want to consider.

Right now, his focus is entirely on training and preparing for the possibility of playing for Barcelona once more and his ultimate hope is that he will feature in the upcoming Spanish Super Cup.
