All the information needed ahead of City’s final match of 2024.
Gareth Taylor’s side close than calendar with a tantalising trip to Barcelona in the UEFA Women’s Champions League on Wednesday 18 December with kick-off scheduled for 17:45 (UK).
It represents our final Group D assignment and we enter the match harbouring ambitions of finishing at the table’s summit knowing we’ll win the group if we avoid a 2-0 defeat in Spain.

City suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat to Everton in our previous assignment which represented only our second loss of the season.
First-half goals from Lucy Hope and Honoka Hayashi gave the hosts a strong lead at the break before Mary Fowler’s penalty halved the deficit in the 89th minute.
Taylor’s side recorded a memorable 2-0 win over Barcelona in the reverse fixture in front of a record Joie Stadium crowd.
Naomi Layzell lit the sky blue touch paper with her first for the Club on 36 minutes when pouncing at a corner to turn the ball into the net.
After heroic defending after half-time, Khadija ‘Bunny’ Shaw doubled our lead with just less than 15 minutes remaining which helped us to a famous three points on the European stage.
