While Dani Olmo attracts most of the attention, Pau Victor is also awaiting the resolution of his registration issue in La Liga.

Following the denial of a precautionary measure from the Commercial Court in Barcelona on Friday, the Catalans are exploring other avenues, and are confident of securing the registrations of both players before December 31.

Barcelona happy with Pau Victor’s handling of the situation

Now, Mundo Deportivo reports that the Barcelona board is highly appreciative of how Pau Victor has handled the complex situation surrounding the uncertainty of his registration.

The 23-year-old forward has been kept fully informed about the progress of the issue, with Barça passing on messages of trust and optimism through various contacts.

No formal meeting has been necessary to discuss the matter or any potential consequences should the registration fail. The Blaugrana hierarchy is aware of Victor’s willingness to help, regardless of what happens.

Barcelona’s sporting management has not considered proposing any possible exit for Victor while awaiting developments from Joan Laporta to resolve the issue through other channels.

The Catalan club understands that the forward, whose contract runs until 2029, is calm and fully committed to Barcelona without exerting any kind of pressure.

As such, the Blaugrana are delighted with Victor’s sporting and off-field attitude, even in this confusing bureaucratic matter.

As reported just a while back, Laporta has succeeded in striking a deal for the sale of Spotify Camp Nou VIP boxes for €100 million with some Middle Eastern companies.

It should enable the registration of both Victor and Olmo while also helping Barça return to the 1:1 Financial Fair Play rule.
