Barcelona starlet Alex Valle completed his mid-season loan switch to Como 1907 earlier this week, after spending the first half of the season at Celtic in Scotland.
The 20-year-old La Masia talent had spent the last season on loan at UD Levante, where he did well and earned a place in Hansi Flick’s summer pre-season plans.
Even though he made a solid impression, Valle was farmed out on loan again, joining Celtic, after he signed a contract extension until 2026.
Valle did well during his time at Celtic, featuring 19 times in which he registered five assists, before moving to Como this week.

However, according to Fabrizio Romano, the 20-year-old academy product’s contract at Barcelona includes €6 million exit clause, which will be valid from June.
The clause will be open to all clubs who are able to agree terms with Valle, but Como may end up having an edge over other suitors, based on how his loan move will proceed over the course of the next five months.
With Alejandro Balde firmly installed as the first-choice left-back and Gerard Martin, his understudy, signing a new contract recently, there appears to be no space for Valle at Barcelona as things stand.
Considering that he will be entering the final year of his deal in the summer, it cannot be ruled out that the youngster would leave the Blaugrana on a permanent transfer.
