FC Barcelona are on the verge of being crowned the champions of La Liga as they get set to take on local rivals RCD Espanyol on Thursday night.
A victory in the Catalan derby will see the Blaugrana claim the league title on the turf of their bitter enemies, although there is a possibility that Hansi Flick’s men’s triumph can be confirmed tonight itself if Real Madrid lose to Mallorca.
Ahead of the short trip to RCDE Stadium tomorrow, Barcelona started their final training session at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.
As reported by journalist Alex Pintanel, Barcelona’s young midfielder Pablo Torre rejoined the group training today suggesting that his injury problem was behind him.
The Spanish prospect was sidelined just before the game against Real Valladolid earlier this month due to some muscular discomfort.

While it was not expected to be serious, Torre still ended up missing three games – against Valladolid, Inter Milan, and Real Madrid.
However, the former Racing Santander starlet has recovered and is training with the team ahead of tomorrow’s Catalan derby.
And with the title almost in the bag, there is a good chance that Flick might hand him some meaningful minutes in the remaining matches.
So far this season, the 22-year-old has featured only 14 times across all competitions, registering four goals and three assists.
Meanwhile, Inigo Martinez is not in training with the rest of the group today as he is suspended for the game due to accumulation of cards.
Jules Kounde and Marc Bernal, on the other hand, are injury-enforced absentees.
