Bayern Munich are making strong progress in their bid to sign Jonathan Tah from Bayer Leverkusen, with the German international agreeing terms with the Bavarian giants ahead of a potential summer move. According to a report from Foot Mercato, he 29-year-old centre-back has agreed to a four-year deal, though the option of a three-year contract with a fourth-year option is also on the table. His annual salary would be around €12 million.Despite the agreement Bayern are still not in the clear. Barcelona have also made a strong push to sign Tah, and the player has reportedly verbally agreed terms with the Catalan club as well. However, Barça’s ongoing financial constraints could prove a decisive factor—potentially tipping the balance in Bayern’s favour. The Bavarian club are not the clear favourites to secure Tah’s signature. The German has made 31 appearances in the Bundesliga this season, boasting a 93.1% passing rate over 2,790 minutes played.
