Against Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday afternoon, Bayern Munich were held to a 3-3 draw to prevent them from maintaining their two-point lead at the top of the Bundesliga table.

However, while the result was far from the desired outcome for Vincent Kompany, the Belgian head coach has also had to deal with a significant number of injuries.

As previously reported, Harry Kane was substituted off for Mathys Tel during the second half, and while the extent of his injury is unknown, the England captain will be assessed during the week.

Nevertheless, two Bayern players have already withdrawn from international duty, and as it stands, they may fail to feature for Der Rekordmeister in their next fixture against VfB Stuttgart.

As reported via Sky Germany, Dayot Upamecano has been replaced by Loïc Badé in the French national team, while Tel will also fail to feature for France’s U21 side.

According to TZ, the 19-year-old tore a ligament in his shoulder against Die Adler, and there is a belief that he will be unable to play a role against Stuttgart on matchday seven.
