Bayern Munich: Hits and misses of Hindrunde | OneFootball

Bayern Munich brought the curtain down on 2024 with a resounding 5-1 win over RB Leipzig in the Bundesliga. Courtesy of the big win against Leipzig, Bayern went into the winter break on 36 points from 15 matches to top the standings with a healthy four-point lead over the reigning champions-Bayer Leverkusen.

Despite some early hiccups in the European Champions League and the disappointment of being knocked of the DFB Pokal at the round of 16 stage, the Bavarian faithful can be pleased with the club’s overall performance during the Hindrunde. Whilst most of the players gave a good account of themselves, with a few even taking it up a notch with their performances, a few struggled for form during the first half of the season.
