Much is being said about Jupp Heynckes and who will coach Bayern Munich next season but the club also has four other important contracts to make a decision on.
As things stand, Arjen Robben, Franck Ribéry, Sven Ulreich and Rafinha will not be Bayern players come July.
The quartet are yet to agree on new contracts, though that could soon change.
According to SportBild, Bayern have opened talks with the players over their current deals.
Conversations are ongoing and things could change but, for the time being, the club want Robben to sign a one-year extension, providing he stays fit between now and May.
Ribéry is desperate to stay, he’s said as much in public, but Bayern aren’t as keen to extend with the 34-year-old. He could still be offered a one-year deal but with the proviso that he has to accept a lesser role in the squad as the club moves towards using Kingsley Coman more.
There are better signs for Ulreich. The goalkeeper has played well with Manuel Neuer out injured this season and should be awarded with a long-term deal.
Rafinha’s future remains unclear as he toys with the idea of returning to his native Brazil for the final years in his career.
